STEFAN ERICSON
HEAD OF PARETO ASSET MANAGEMENT, SWEDEN
Stefan is an asset manager with approximately EUR 7bn in assets under management. He currently holds the position of Senior Portfolio Manager for Pareto Global Corporate Bond Fund and Pareto Nordic Corporate Bond Fund and is the branch manager in Stockholm, Sweden at Pareto Asset Management. Stefan’s Global Corporate Bond Fund is the first to have been awarded Swan Ecolabel for a fixed-income fund in Sweden.
Prior to joining Pareto Asset Management, Stefan was Head of Fixed Income at Carnegie Fonder AB, one of Sweden’s largest fund managers with approximately EUR 9bn asset under management. Here, he was responsible for a fund awarded the “Best Cautiously Managed Fund” by MoneyMate Fund Award, and Stefan himself was, in 2013, awarded “Manager of the Year” in the category of corporate bonds by Morningstar.
In his earlier career, Stefan has also held several high-ranking positions within Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken (SEB) and Investor AB, overseeing MBS portfolios, commercial paper programs, FX and interest rate trading. He has been highly involved in leverage buyouts and mergers including Aleris, SOBI, Nasdaq OMX and Lindorff.
Qualifications:
Stefan holds the reputable certificate of CFA, Chartered Financial Analyst, as well as a Master of Business Administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
